Lighting test. AD600 with extension head vs ad200. Both fired at full power. No contest lol

I stopped comparing the two right then and there, but did more thorough testing of the ad200 vs the 860II. I won't bore you guys with the comparison shots, but shooting at a wall and adjusting the exposure of the 860II to match the exposure of the ad200 resulted in the the ad200 being 1.5 stops more powerful than the speedlight.....so ad200 = 3 speedlights.

All in all, the ad600 is still my go-to if I'm fighting sunlight, but if I need to move around more and/or don't need as much power, the ad200 is still a solid middle ground in terms of power in a very minimalistic set-up.

Nah no hot-shoe. If they made a hot-shoe mount version I'd totally be game. It's a lot heavier than a speedlight though.

Going for a film look, trying to replicate Neopan 400...its close to the one I shot on 120 Neopan 100 a couple years ago in the same spot...the only two girls on this side of the family, only 3 grandkids for my wifes dad... they are 7 years apart.

Thanks. I found this preset package for Lightroom that with some tweaking and custom inputs lets me get close to the look of Neopan...I shot it at high ISO to get some natural grain, as I don't like grain added in post...

Yep, it is a Scotland T-Shirt, that is my niece, my wife's dad and his wife went to Scotland this year and brought the kids back tshirts...I went once with my dad in college, but I didn't do much photography then, and we were there to play golf...I want to go back.
