I would appreciate comments on this portrait. I would mostly like to know how it compares to a professionally executed headshot. Thanks!

It looks kinda like your main light was a little low and it could use some fill

The main light was too low. Fill is a matter of taste or purpose. When I photograph large subjects, especially women who are weight conscious, I go for a higher ratio, as deeper shadows hide problem areas and slim subjects. Of course, in this case weight is not a problem, but just wanted to make a point of lighting ratios being dynamic, rather than set in stone.

I'd also move the kicker further back, so as to avoid the shiny spot on the right side of her nose.

I don't do headshots and can only offer my biased view: she seems to have a deviated septum very much enhanced by the lighting. Positioning the light correctly and perhaps using some fill as DThriller mentioned above will make a difference.
Alveric also mentioned the shiny areas which I also find not very flattering. You may get rid of them in PP by using a local color of her face and just painting at a low opacity on a new layer (Photoshop) or simply have some facial powder being applied to mattify the oily skin just a little bit. If no powder is available, absorbing the oil with tissues works too :)

Thank you, very much! Is there anything other than that? Is the pose alright? Color, cropping, background? Would you say this is a professional-quality headshot?

Besides all the good suggestions above, I would offer:
- brightest part of the image, at first look, appears to be her sweater - should be her face (in reality this isn't exactly true but given the shadows on the face, it looks true)
- DoF and or front focus seems to be an issue - look at her sweater - only the very front of her right shoulder seems to be in sharp / critical focus

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

I prefer this one. The light is nicer but it still needs some fill. The right temple looks a little "dirty" and her left shoulder looks a little high for my taste.
