Yes it is really good at high ISO. Very usable even at 20,000 ISO. The ISO dial on the top left makes it easy to look just look down and see all of your settings without having to go into a menu. ISO, aperture and shutter speeds are right there.

Thank you. The five OOF black lines that cross the tracks are guard wires below the railing at the edge of a balcony. They appear to run at right angles to the tracks because, in reality, they do.

When cropping, I paid attention to these bits that I thought referred to each other and anchored the corners:

Yes...

A great photographer once told me either everything in the frame is helping you photograph and if those elements are helping then they are hurting it. I feel as you do those shapes help anchor and balance the image.
