yes sir, I went out there Saturday afternooon... and basically dodged people constantly. I got some shots, but the falls (both of them) where VERY crowded. A rain storm didn't even make them go away lol

Great idea!! That never crossed my mind. On the other hand some of the people that were there looked pretty similar to a bear themselves lol

I was surprised to see the Rosebay still in bloom as much as it is. It still looks pretty strong, it has been a stellar year for the blooms around the area.

We had some rare aurora action here in Oregon early this AM. Sadly you don't even see this with the naked eye, but the camera picks it up a little. You do see some very minor/faint vertical flashes almost like a distant airport runway light/lighthouse light.

I didn't go crazy with the contrast/levels on this compared to some around the web. It's simply very dim, atleast so with 30 seconds ISO4000 F4.0 (someone buy me that 16-35 F2.8 III)

Mt St Helens, Mt. Rainier, and Mt. Adams to the north. The light behind Mt. St Helens is all from Seattle, and on the far right that's light from the town of Hood River

This was with the 100-400, I think at F4.5 ISO 4000 30 seconds, so too much time @ 100mm = blurrrrr
