Thanks for all the feedback on the reverse vignetting. turning off the profile fix the problem but will disable distortion correction so i just went 45 on the vignetting slider and it seems to work.

thanks brothers.

Love it David! That sky is crazy.

Thanks Alfredo. Overall the sky was almost clear. It was colorful, but mostly boring with the only clouds being at the horizon. But this is why I love telephotos; the longer lens crops out the boring and frames in the interesting. In frame it looks somehwat like an nuclear explosion, which is indeed pretty crazy looking. :)

In ACR, distortion and vignetting are separate sliders. I'm surprised that isn't the case in LR as well. I leave the lens correction checked but will move the vignetting slider to the left on those occasions it's needed. That will not affect the distortion correction.

Bastian has a review up on phillipreeve on the new Laowa 15mm f2.0 lens. Filter friendly too I believe. Looks very nice although I think he said he received a decentered copy unfornately.

The LR profiles sometimes over correct for vignetting, it happens on the B18 as well, it brightens the edges too much for my taste, and I tend to back it down...same goes for the CV12.
This would have been my suggestion...ignore the profile for vignetting, keep the settings for distortion correction..

LR and ACR are exactly the same.

Go with Nisi or Firecrest ND filters. Lee is too pricey and currently one of the worst in terms of color cast.

I don't use LR but assumed that was the case.

There are some GUI differences, but no functional differences (between LR Develop and ACR). I prefer the simpler gradient tool in ACR with the intuitive green/red dots indicating start/stop. And I prefer the way the adjustment brush is handled in LR.

But, the biggest difference is speed. LR is a three-toed sloth on crutches pulling an RV. ;)

The new LEE IR filters are "reportedly" completely color neutral...

I need to replace my 3 stop, and will likely do so with the Firecrest ND. My Firecrest 16 stop is very neutral. Almost no difference between the filtered image and the unfiltered image...but I just don't use 16 stops for anything...

Bridge does not do much better sometimes...I have Bridge installed at home and here at work...it won't run here...it crashes, everytime...useless...works fine at home!

I followed your trip on FB...
Did you plan it all yourself or use a guide company? I so badly want to go there...
