Tried some recently. Do you guys think a 70-200 f4 with no IS is useful in a zoo? Currently using a 100mm macro.

I did London Zoo a few years back with that lens. Definitely good results, see for yourself:

Thanks for the info and pictures. I will give it a try this weekend, my friend will lend me one before I commit to buying.

Happy to see the the Galaps are still going at it, apparently they are around 90y/old. Sadly the first clutch of eggs got crushed because it was laid near the cement barrier.
