Love this capture. Totally appreciate the lines with regard to the angle of the shot. 8-)

Thank you. The five OOF black lines that cross the tracks are guard wires below the railing at the edge of a balcony. They appear to run at right angles to the tracks because, in reality, they do.

I figured that they were something like that. Kudos to you for being alert, creative and active to get the photo. :-)

Thank you both!
When cropping, I paid attention to these bits that I thought referred to each other and anchored the corners:

Yes...

A great photographer once told me either everything in the frame is helping you photograph and if those elements are helping then they are hurting it. I feel as you do those shapes help anchor and balance the image.

So why is she carrying an automatic weapon? She doesn't appear to be an official or military. Not to mention she has no clip. -?

There is indeed a magazine attached to the stock, it was probably paid for via your tax dollars, and it's just in case she runs into some little Palestinian kids on the way home from the market...
Feel free to PM me regarding more 'fun' details about Israel.

Yes, and there also appears to be an orange colored bolt lock, so she's displaying that she's of little threat--at least for the 30 seconds it will take her to remedy the safety measures.

30 seconds can be an eternity given certain situations.

I'd love to see this part of the world but I'd scared to death to do so given the political climate in the whole area.
