Now this looks pretty darn crisp and sharp. I always use the flicker link and then zoom in to really see what a picture looks like. This is really nice.

Thanks Darrell. I must have gotten lucky because I'm pretty sure the IS was still on. Maybe the wind was a non factor at this point as well.

I think even the most consummate pro will agree ... in the end it's all a crap shoot. lol

I have shot fireworks with an ND filter and bulb mode. These are NOT from KC.

My wife and I took a little road trip to Eminence, MO to catch Alley Spring and Mill. There is some nice hiking, a gorgeous historic mill, a spring that oozes 81 million gallons of water a day, and some nice places to catch a river to do some rafting. I've included the link if you would like to see the image.

These plus all the fireworks shots on your flickr page are great. Really top notch quality.

Thank you! I was revisiting them two weeks for other reasons. I may have to go back and see if any others are redeemable.

I will say it takes some patience and setup. It is "relatively" easy for shooting at WDW as the shows are the same every night so you have an idea of what is coming where.

Definitely an oldie but a goodie. Always makes me miss KC. I will say though that without the Western Auto building sign illuminated, it's just not the same. Very nice photo though.

I agree. It's up to the residents of the apartments in that building to maintain the sign and from what a fellow photographer has told me they don't want to do flip the bill. There are a few people that are thinking of starting a Go Fund Me account for it though.

Well that's a great shot I never thought to take. This is why I think your brilliant in always finding cool ways to capture KC. Nice work!

"La Giralda" in the backdrop. (I have visited and climbed the real one in Sevilla, España countless times!) 8-)
