Broke my tibia and ripped some ligaments in my knee 5 months ago while skiing - surgery, 7 screws and a plate later, and I'm finally starting to feel that maybe there is hope for the 2018 ski season (still a big maybe). Bought a bike from a crazy mountain biking friend for my recovery since running is a no way currently. Learning to take care of it and setup the suspension has been lots of fun. This was a crazy state of the art at the time german manufactured bike that is now 8 years old but for a newbie like me, with 1 1/2 legs, it has been a blast.

A 2009-2010 Liteville All Mountain Bike with a modern rear cassette and converted to a 1-by upfront.

Paul, that's a good looking bike, but I can't help but think its just another way to go downhill fast and perhaps add more hardware to your body?

ha! - 2 days ago I had my first over the handlebars on a technical descent and my ribs landed on a nice hard tree root after flying through the air - my only thought as it was happening was please don't break my leg again - besides the huge bruise to my ribs, and a bucket of Advil to fall asleep, I went out again today

I mean this is such a wonderful photo on many levels.

The composition/focussing is so pleasing on the eye.

The colours of the flowers matching the flower in her hair.
Her cute expression and pose.
Astounding.

Oh, and yes you may have guessed, I have a little "daddy's girl" at home too and fully understand how they melt our hearts every single day!

I also worked a few times in Vietnam and remember how lovely the little kids were, although they never had such nice clothes back in 1977/78.

I love the color pallet used as well as position of flowers and greenery to surround your child. Not to mention the good detail you have in this shot especially in your child

All in all a top portrait shot. Well done......

Thank you for compliment sir. Shot that at al lake around 5pm. Sun was at angle and no helpers did best I could

The past year, I found the 5DS with Canon or Tamron lenses, gets me color from redwood forest shots that's very satisfying.
