Nice place, must have been fun growing up there. May i ask where this is? Is there a possibity of a reshoot? if yes, then i would try to shoot closer to either sunrise or sunset. But even otherwise it is beautiful, and it holds special meaning for you. Print it and hang it where everyone who visits can see it!!

CC always welcome.

Thanks. This is in St. Vincent's, which is at the southeastern tip of Newfoundland, Canada. They don't see much sun there actually, so shooting during sunrise or sunset is pretty much impossible. I agree that it would improve it though.

Large prints are completely different from what you see on the screen. Especially on the canvas. Find good Canadian camera shop, not Walmart or Costco. In good Canadian camera shops you could still find good Canadian people who prints for customers. Canvas and metal plates included. Only those will tell you how it going to looks. But most of the time it is going to be different on the print anyway.

I think your best achievement on print is going to be if picture will represent how you feel about this place and how you remember it. If it is slightly cheesy on colors here is nothing wrong with it. Impressionists often used hot and strange colors, because it was not about how it looks like, but how you feel it on bright, sunny day.
