As there is lot of discussion about DR charts from Bill with 6d2 release,I checked out d7500 with 80d. Surprisingly 80d is very competitive with best crop sensor (d7500). I was expecting Full stop difference at low iso and consistent 1/2 stop difference at high iso. Instead 80d is within 1/2stop at low iso and very close at high iso. It is almost same at iso 200,1600 and 6400. There is something going on with intermediate ISO,s with 80d where DR drops quickly. Don't know why they decided to cripple 6d when they finally have competitive tech.

I wanted to shoot dragonflies today but no luck. So I shot flies, bees and other small insects instead.

A young blackbird, I think, left by its parents to fend for itself. Ahhhhh...

I can highly recommend it! Takes some getting used to but it's my most fun lens.

While travelling through northern New York State and the Thousand Islands area of Ontario, I had plenty of photo opportunities.
Case in point was this stop at the 1000 Islands Tower (external link).
The top of the tower with its open observation deck is 400’ above the ground giving you an incredible view of the area, including the Thousand Islands Bridge.
Despite the very hazy day, the view was spectacular. The 80D performed well on this trip and I couldn’t be happier.
