By "look" do you mean low contrast? "Back then", drugstore B&W prints were typically light gray on medium gray.
I don't have a problem with that, but think the image is too dark overall.

Really not keen on this one, the blue tone really doesn't do it for me. Probably because I wouldn't expect an image like this to have been gold toned. Otherwise a nice pair of shots.
