I'm still going back and forth. My 80D is filling my current needs and I"m not really sure what the addition of FF is going to do to help me. It's a want vs need. I've been watching youtube videos all morning. The haters are out in force. Jared Polin did a pretty balanced commentary. I'm prob going to just keep plodding along developing craft until I hit a point where there is something specific I need.

I see what you're saying with want vs need. I'm definitely leaning more towards want category. There was a time when I was doing photography as a job and at that point my plan was to move to a full frame camera as I was mostly working with people photography and landscapes. I've got some decent primes but then I stopped that and moved to another career path. So I was left with that desire to upgrade to FF without an actual need. I do get to travel a lot and I feel that my 600D is starting to hold me back unless I have time and tripod which I don't usually have on business trips. So an upgrade was due. Might as well be a FF camera :)

Is that cardinal infected with the zombie virus?
Would guess it is immature but mine never have bald heads when colored out full red.

Cardinals typically molt in late summer.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

My 6D has just arrived! I have to say, upgrading 600D to a 6D is a BIG step forward. I expected it to be good but it exceeded my expectations!
Always wanted to get a decent image of the milky way... and what better way to test a 6D if not by shooting in low light? :)
