It looks like a young eagle but there aren't any nests around..

It looks like a juvenile Red-tailed Hawk to me. Definitely not an eagle.

I would agree with red tailed hawk.

Thanks, several red tail guesses on facebook also.
THe size and the eyes with sharp brow was making me thing eagle.. But I should have known since they're are not in my area..
