Leaving in a week. Now have a small Fuji system. Bringing the 18-55 and 18-135 only. Super small kit.

Got a boat booked for Skellig Michael.

Any last minute tips?

If driving around the ring of Kerry, go the same direction than the tourist buses! road can be quite narrow at some points and the last thing you want while driving on the left is to have to make room for one of them!

If you are going to the Skellig, let me know if you see puffins. I'm trying to organise a trip for that reason!

We are planing a trip for some night shooting, mostly. Did you know Kerry is one of the 11 GOLD Tier Dark-Sky Reserve places in the world. Might see a few stars if you are out at night and in the right place.

Anything between August 13th-24th that I could join in on?

Thanks for that link.

Planning a winter one, as we get more dark for our buck at that time of year. But you be given a warm welcome if we were.

Kim I'm staying in Kenmare the entire time (except for one day in Dublin when we arrive). If you are close, and have some time to get away, I'd love to shoot with you and hoist some pints. I just switched from Canon to a Fuji Xt-2 and would love some pointers. LMK

Picked up the 35 f2 WR today so now I don't have to take the kit 18-55 lens. My travel kit is small and light. Loving it!
