I have been fortunate to have captured a hummer stretching before but, never quite like this. Juvi female ruby throat perched on trumpet vine. One of many poses. Image photographed August 4, 2017. My back yard.

The Not so Common... Common Sandpiper, Such tiny little waders, smaller than the Green Sandpiper, brown in colour and with a white Shoulder

Three Green Sandpiper, slightly larger than the Common Sandpiper and you can see the missing white shoulder which mostly distinguishes the two breeds.
