You Kingfisher shots are absolutely dialed in! Did you spend a lot of time micro aligning that lens to that body? Anyway, stunning, this one and the one a page or two back. Wonderful stuff on your llickr page too!

I went out the other day just with my walk around Tamron (18-270). Definitely notice how slow servo AF is on it compared to my Canon lenses. Also, I don't think it's OS (optical stabilization has a mode 2 equivalent that I should have turned off to eliminate micro blurr that occurred in some.

This mini golden doodle Rosie is a sweet firecracker who loves to play and wrestle with all the bigger dogs. Doesnt mind getting manhandled and only takes one yelp to 'reset' play.

Shot late today. A storm was moving in and the Monarch's were retiring to their favorite location each night (a particular tree limb in my front yard) as they sought shelter.

A hedgehog showed up in our garden yesterday evening as the light was failing, the first we've seen here for some nine years. I only managed a couple of shots before a cat spooked it and it ran into hiding..
