Same park as the Black-Crowned Night Heron above, but today found a Great Blue Heron. It pays to go everyday I can! Same bird, just very different light as it worked its way around the pond.
Man I really like this one! Are you in the Tuscon area?

Aug 10, 2017 13:35 | #1052 My first ever photo of a Heron. It was motionless in a shady part of the river with just the sun highlighting it. Exposing for the white plumage gave the background a darker appearance. Image hosted by forum (869977) © fma [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. I am in Tucson and the park these were taken at is less than a mile from my house near Glenn and Craycroft! Check out other photos at the sites in my sig or on Facebook at Jeffry Scott photography! (I used to be a pro, but now work in medicine. I am hoping to start making some money with photography again, I miss it) A few of my photos here: http://jeffryscott.com
