I'm bad about it too. I literally see an opportunity and think of specifically this particular thread.

Still my all time favorite... because we've all done it:

In defense of the poor guy, maybe he's just adjusting menu items or playing back some previous shots or video?

Don't know about Nikons, but I often do that on my Panasonic FZ1000 before taking it the cap off for a shooting session. Flipping open and using the LCD screen uses more battery power and I have to hold it at arms length or put on glasses to see it, whereas the viewfinder is already adjusted for my eyes.

Well, after he realized what he was doing (pulled camera away, turned it, looked at the front of the lens like "what?" and pulled the cap off, then looked at me, knew I knew, went back to taking an image of a perched pelican on the pier and brushed it off. He was a good sport about it. :p

My swim team partner in crime. She handles the portraits, and I'm all about the action shots.

Hmm. I didn't know they might not be. Is there a new way to suspend a speedlight up there for portrait orientation? (I'm not much of a strobist)

I still use one for wedding and portrait shoots. Mines a little different than the one pictured. It's sleaker and aerodynamic looking.

I'll be shooting my last wedding in October. Haven't decided if I'm going to keep the bracket or sell it along with some other photo gear I won't be needing.

Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

Hello. Do you mind if I show my works too?

Sure, but this is the wrong place :-)

Here we are showcasing photographers, not photographs.

And, welcome to POTN. Nice photographs, btw.

CC always welcome.
