I'll be in a motel parking lot in Ontario, OR. Only 1:28 of totality, but I'm afraid I-84 will be jammed if I try to go further north. I'm practicing every day to get my routine to the point where it feels natural.

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.

St Joe Mo. or there about dependent on weather. 2 minutes, 41 seconds totality.

BTW, fun site posted in another thread that seemed appropriate here as well.

had a friend tell me last week...that the local media up there are encouraging locals to 'stock up' on food and supplies in anticipation of the crowds.

I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.

I'm headed up from Dallas so its 8 hours up, spend 2 hours eclipsing, then 8 hours back. Gonna be a really long day. :)

I have family that live in kansas city Mo. A 12 hr drive for me from michigan. I was planning on shooting from their backyard, but they will only experience 40 seconds of totality as best as I can tell. So, I may drive another 20 or 30 miles north to get closer to two minutes of totality.

I'm headed to Casper, WY. Thought I'm staying at a park south of town, I'll be in town with a group from my astronomy club on the morning of the eclipse.

No where. Eclipse will come to me.

Test....

There's a little black spot on the sun today...

Moves when the sun is in a different part of the frame so it isn't sensor dust.

96% coverage where I'm at. I'm not going to drive 4 hours to get to 100%. I'll just enjoy the photos and video from everyone else.

88% coverage for me, I will be staying home to photograph, and hopefully get a decent time lapse of the eclipse.
