I don't get that impression from picture 1. In fact, I think this whole set looks pretty good.

I think these are quite an improvement from your previous efforts. Lighting and poses are good. Picture 2 and 6 are my favs.

Nicely done.

Neither do I.

The best one in my opinion is #5. It shows enough of the costuming to set the scene with no room for uncertainty (the thumb in the belt loop helps with this), and the pose is unusual. #6, the crop is too high on her torso for my taste.

To enhance the staging, the model might have put her hair in two braids for some shots and removed the nail polish that went with the blue-dress shoot.

If she wants to pursue modeling, she needs to develop a larger repertory of expressions. She has just one smile. If these are portraits for her private use, it doesn't matter.

PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa, more so (2 wds.), shoo-in | IMAGE EDITING OK

Nice lighting

Sometimes hats block the light in really bad ways but you did well. If you had one, a background light would have been nice

I did, but I forgot to turn it back on when she changed outfits (I shot dramatic right before this.)
