The origional M sure can take a beating. It's been my default hiking/backpacking/canoeing camera for years now and it keeps on kicking despite some pretty obvious wear and tear.

So the 90EX flash unit can be had for $30 new (white box) on Amazon. I picked one up since that's as cheap as lunch for two on any given day.

I should pay more attention to this thread. These are gone now.

I guess I have to use window light because I missed the deal on white box 90EX and my 430 EX ii just looks silly on my EOS m.

It fluctuates; just wait until a seller pops up again. They're on ebay also for $35~45 shipped if you just browse for white/grey box items with free shipping.

We just returned home after the roads being cleared and electricity restored to some areas, post Hurricane Irma. We facetanked the hurricane because we really can't go anywhere on the West coast of Florida where she rolled the coast line. But we were fortunate that she lost most of her ferocity along the way, those down South were not so fortunate. We made it fun though, we went to a local school and took over a room with candles, a generator for a few outlets to power some things and clean running water. We made it a "sleep over" party that lasted about 2 days basically with movies, snacks and board games.

Glad you're ok. Nice photos in black and white.

My family in Florida all bugged out. They haven't returned yet, but they think property is ok. Parents-in-law's old house in Jacksonville is probably flooded.
