Thanks Gene. I remember you using the EOS 100-400 for those shots. Be prepared for even more
detail and sharpness when you get the FEGM, also it will a great excuse for you and your grandson
to hit that wildlife refuge again.

OK, I'm convinced. Now to sell off my remaining Canon gear. Geez, I hate to go through the hassle of the selling game.

A view of a small shot glass of Chimayo Tequila Reposado. I took this shot using my Laowa 15mm macro lens for the fun of it.

The front element of the lens was two inches away from the shot glass.

Call me crazy but I love the last shot with the shotglass reflecting. I'd crop that and use
it as a stand along image (after the Genesig is added of course :)

How do you manage to make sharp images...with all the booze involved!

Reminds me...I am out of Don Julio...need to restock on the way home...

I can shoot this type of photograph because the booze in the glasses isn't real. I use tea or other liquids to match the color of the liquor in the bottle so I don't have to break the seal. Now beer on the other hand...hic° :p

Good to see some tequila drinkers on here. :-)

I'm still working on a bottle of Don Julio 1942 that I received as a retirement gift. My preferred tequila is Corzo Anejo.

Gene, your shots of the different drinks and bottles are just amazing. Keep 'em coming!

Did you use the 5 continuous shot burst? Great for self portraits!

No. Just flicked it across to 10 second timer. I couldn't even tell you where 5 shot burst is.......??-?

I do like tequila occasionally too.

I should have added something to chase this down with. ;-)a

Wow, hoping for a pull-back on this one. I bet it is very complicated with
lots of stands, umbrellas, soft boxes (me trying to use the vernacular) and
remotes.

Please excuse me again for posting a non Sony Image.

This post though is more about the Godox TT350. I used it on-camera to balance exposure and as you can see the power of this cutie speedlight is decent. I was at F5.6 and at 1/2000sec. The flash was at manual mode at 1/1 power. Shot at 11am Norcal summer.

It has done a good job i might get one for my Sony.
