Wow, hoping for a pull-back on this one. I bet it is very complicated with
lots of stands, umbrellas, soft boxes (me trying to use the vernacular) and
remotes.

I used the same setup for the Patron and Chimayo shots as I did for the Belgian glass shot. I placed a black tile on a lightstand using a small plate for it to rest on. Then I placed both stripboxes, one on each side and my 24" softbox on a "C" stand in front of and overhead. A fourth light can't be seen but is behind and to the side shooting through the glass. I used a snoot to limit the area lit. The setup is below...

That stuff is dangerous Gene lol.

Great shots as usual!

I agree and thanks.

Good to see some tequila drinkers on here. :-)

I'm still working on a bottle of Don Julio 1942 that I received as a retirement gift. My preferred tequila is Corzo Anejo.

Gene, your shots of the different drinks and bottles are just amazing. Keep 'em coming!

Tequila is for southern sweet tea lightweights ;-)a.......

MEZCAL!!!! now that is a drink

Last chance for a peep here. $825.00 for the 70-300 ....... $545.00 for the Tamron V1 150-600 A mount.

Going to Ebay next week with them otherwise. Had a few runs at them on FM but like 300 for the tammy and 600 for the 70-300 .... I can load them on Ebay and make more that way.

Sigh selling stuff is sooooo much fun

Off to the eclipse tomorrow might not be on the comp till Wed AM

They are very similar.... Tequila can ONLY be made from Blue Agave, Mezcal can come from any of 30 Agave types and Tequila is a tad sweeter across the Anejo - Blanco spectrum because there are more sugars in the Tequila process

.....or so I have been told by an old Mexican man I admire

How do you manage to make sharp images...with all the booze involved!

Reminds me...I am out of Don Julio...need to restock on the way home...

Travis, I found a really nice tequila at Total Wine called El Padrino. It is on sale for $19 right now for a 750ml and rated a 95. It's not quite as smooth as Gran Patron, but I have no idea how it stacks up next to Don Julio. At that price point, though, it is a major bargain!

I may or may not have killed a bottle of it during my five nights in Vegas last month.

It's just a 15 mile path. Since my primary objective was photography I only did the southern half last night, so I need to try the northern half yet.

So bored and going through the hard drive looking for forgotten and undeveloped. Here's one
