...the moon shall cast its shadow on the sun.

I thought the moon's shadow was going to be on the earth.

It would take something between our sun and something even brighter to make a shadow on the sun.

Doesn't matter. If it's a shadow, my dog will run from it.

BTW, anyone headed to see the total eclipse of the sun?

I will be heading to my yard to hopefully get a time lapse video of the 88% eclipse I get here in my neighborhood.

It's only gonna be 72% here, and I waited too long to buy glasses, and now I can't find any.

I should have bought welders glass a while back.

I'll be watching shadows slowly blend with another shadow.

I think we'll be around 78% here. I've got welding glasses, since I use them at work.

I wanted to get a piece big enough to put in front of my 150-600.

Hey, I just looked at the meta data.
Canon EOS 7D | Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM @600mm | 1/320 | f/7.1 | ISO 800

This was not a Canon 100-400 at 600mm. It was a Siggy 150-600 at 600. Whats up with that?

I hope you are aware, the welding glasses need to be #14 or darker to keep you from going blind while looking at the sun.
