1. When would you change the aspect ratio setting on the camera? I use it for both stills and videos and it seems to be currently set to 3:2. Should it be set to 4:3? What do you base this setting on?

2. When changing frame rate settings, such as 24p 50M does the 50M mean that it maxes out at 50 Mbps? If so, why does 120p have a higher Mbps at 100M than 24p at 50M? Does this technically mean that the higher frame rate footage is higher quality? I thought it was the other way around where the high the frame rate the lower the quality.

1. Don't remember which one it is, but I set it to the native aspect ratio; this gives you the most pixels. If you want to crop (to change the aspect ratio) you can do it in post.

2. 120p records 5 times as many frames as 24p, but only uses double the data rate; so yes the 120p is lower quality.
