However, I'm loving this newer charger much more. Since it always has two batteries in it, can I shoot dual cameras and when I go home, I have two fresh batteries and ready to go again. It's also usb powered, with no plugin option, so it's ultra small. Image hosted by forum (872267) © Charlie [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff. TRhoads Cream of the Crop More info | Aug 22, 2017 13:21 | #3804 All three chargers I have for the A7R2 batteries plug into the wall, and I like them a lot...this is the first one I have had that needed the cord. Not a big deal, since the batteries reportedly last a long time, I only bought one spare for a total of 2. for now. I am going to shoot a track day in September and see if I can get through a day on those 2...practice for Petit LeMans in October. Website

I had a bad experience with one in my Canon days...it swelled up and was nearly stuck...have never used them since...I have two for the A7R2 that are the last two of 8 in the line...have never put them in the camera, never needed to...just curious. I had the oddest of issues and not sure if related to aftermarket or not. After firmware 4, I would get a message about battery compatibility everytime I start my A7rii.... but I use aftermarket + oem batteries. With my OEM batteries, I would get the message! Not sure if the camera would get confused or not since I would use aftermarket and oem interchangeably. Even more odd is that the camera eventually stopped showing those messages, as if it were smart enough to figure these things out.
