I don't know about the Pencil as I just have a regular iPad. But my favorite photo apps are Snapseed, VSCO and Polarr. Snapseed is probably my favorite editor on any system.

Affinity Photo, best way to go. Search it out, was on special in June for $20. See https://petapixel.com …ered-photo-editor-tablet/ (external link)

What is the learning curve for this app? Looks like a good deal at 20.00

Lightroom Mobile works really well with the pencil and also syncs with your computer if you have Creative Cloud (CC also enables Raw file transfer)

I second this recommendation. I have Photoshop and Lightroom, but this Affinity Photo app is built for the iPad Pro and is slick as can be. Especially with the pencil.

I did purchase Infinity Pro. Gonna be a new learning curve , but just with playing around with it last night it has some powerful tools!

After doing my research (external link), I decided to go with Photoscape for editing on the iPad. So far so good but I'm not quite sure how it holds up against Infinity Pro.
:-)
