Three from yesterday's trip up Ben More with my two pesky Beagles. The weather was terrific as I reached the last 30 minutes of the walk up, but the clouds blew in very shortly after I hit the summit. So... it stays on the todo list, which is a shame because it's a blummin' long walk.

1. Pleasant forest bit at the bottom

Thanks - it looked pretty drab in color but got a lot better with a mono treatment. The top of that hill has huge photographic potential - lots of dramatic rock formations. I'm going to have to revisit it in more stable weather.

I like the Biggles shot. I am not into landscapes much, but I love them when there is a living element in them like that one :) Cool shot

The route I used was about 13km long; the forestry bit was great and the hill itself was great, but there was a loooong stretch of boggy field in between them which got old really fast (especially on the way back). There's a shorter version with a more aggressive profile but it runs the risk of going through unfenced cattle; not viable with my two Beagles.

I am handholding my 7D Mark II and EF500mm for 2 months now, but with 5D4 I would like get back on using tripod when I am out shooting (wildlife, birds etc ;)) 90% I stay focus on my subject but sometimes there are 2 or more subjects that fits in the frame, If I switch to Live view for perch subjects and by enabling the Dual pixel cmos AF system can I focus in 2 subjects or tap my screen on both to be in focus? Did I understand the dual pixel af correctly?
