Hey David/Alfredo...would you two be interested in a sunset meetup at Jackson Street Bridge this Sunday evening...I can't get away the rest of the weekend, my wife is out of town so I am spending the weekend chasing the rugrat around...but if you guys wanted to get together and shoot while Alfredo is still in town, Sunday would be my best chance...I am on the road most of next week...

Thanks Travis. I may be available. It just depends on the plans for Saturday. You guys are really lucky living in this region. I'm loving it here.

Be safe Carlo. SATX is right in the path. 110mph winds sustained off the coast.

It's especially worrisome hearing forecasts of a 45" rain dump. That would be absolutely devastating.

David I feel like I know you, well kinda ;)
IF you go that route please please please rent/borrow first.
I know how a lot of FF sensor lovers react to the mFT, prevent
buyer's remorse.
AND if you do go Oly M1ii, me again trying to get inside your head and
you go long get the Oly 300/4 Pro. It sits beside the PL100-400 here and
it is a better lens, should be for how much more it costs, but Poof sitting 1
meter from me on the pontoon imaging Kites, Spoonsbills, etc. and me using
1DXii + several big Canons and it is hard to tell the difference.

Of course you could when printing huge or massive pixel peeps but you know what
I mean.
I just like the PL100-400 because I find the critter then zoom in. Poof used to miss shots
because of hunting, her hunting not AF, to find the critter in the narrow field of view at an
effective 600 but her mind has dialed all that in and she can very quickly acquire.

OK rant over.....well one more thought on it. We head out for a big trip less than a week from
now and her Oly bag is packed.

i think so ..so just sold the a7sii , have an external monitor that's doing well on ebay so far .. and the accessory cage for the a7sii is on ebay just now as well..all put together should cover the A7rii,, but

going on vacation in 2 weeks .. going to wait till after i get back to do anything.. maybe the a7 III will be announced then i can compare

in the mean time I've got my Fuji , which is working out well so far but i think i will keep that kit small and light with a pair of f2 primes (23 and 50 ) for travel / street or casual stuff..

and then the a7rii for planned City scapes and portraits or when I'm looking for the best in resolution

that's the plan more or less at the moment

I got a couple of Cameras and lenses ...Canon, Sony, Fuji, Pansonic, pentax
