Aug 27, 2017 15:54 | #197 Looks a very good lens on my f mount cameras to fill up the gap between 70-200 and 150-600 Canon, Nikon, Sony, Minolta, Fujifilm, Sigma, Tamron & Tokina

Sep 26, 2017 18:54 | #203 Ordered mine yesterday, comes in thursday! Picked it up with the dock for $799 on B&H. Why not? A third the cost of canon's V2 offering. V1 is to outdated to justify a grand. I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather.

mcoren Beware the title fairies! More info | Oct 24, 2017 20:50 | #204 This was taken at the Culpeper (Virginia, USA) Air Fest on October 14. I was about 500 feet away from the plane as it took off. I’ve inset a small crop of the 100% image to show the level of detail the Sigma 100-400 can capture (and it looked even better before I converted it to JPEG for posting). I love this lens! mcoren Beware the title fairies! More info | Dec 10, 2017 09:39 | #205 Sigma in the USA has reduced the price on this lens by $100, to $699. The web site calls it an "instant savings". I don't know if this is a permanent reduction or just through the holidays. Canon EOS R7, M5, 100 (film), and Sony α6400

I hope to get it out for some action shots soon, but so far it's been $$$ in the back yard with my dog posing for me. I believe this one was shot around 400mm on my 6D, wide open. I also have an 80D that I'll test it out on as well. Image hosted by forum (889712) © smmokan [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.

The most difficult part of the "shoot" was being able to follow my 2-yr old lab as she chased the tennis ball. Overall, I'd say the focusing issues I read about are unfounded- I didn't realize a keeper rate any lower than with other lenses like the Canon 70-200 f/4L.
