WWII Memorial is between the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial/Reflecting Pool. Vietnam (and Korea) memorials are either side of the Reflecting Pool. If you park at the Ohio Drive lot, you might as well walk from there onto all the DC locations you mentioned. There is parking at the boat landing on the Tidal Basin off Maine Ave. SW right after it forks off of Independence Ave. eastbound, but I'm not sure what hours it's open.

ohmygosh ohmygosh ohmygosh ohmygosh!

Hello old friends...haven't been here in quite some time. I had to shut down my hobby and concentrate on studies and work while attending college and finishing my degree.

Lookie Lookie what a graduation present!

Once it warms up, a few friends of mine and I are going to do a pin up session in northern VA.

Thought I would invite photographers and models to join us. A friend of mine is allowing us to use his fire truck for a prop. I made a group on Facebook to keep everyone updated: https://www.facebook.com/groups/342710919246500/ (external link)

Where are some good spots in northern VA that would be good for outdoor pin up session? Within 30 minutes of Manassas. TIA

Friday, May 8. VE Day Warbird Flyover (external link) coming down the Potomac from Leesburg, running in across Lincoln Memorial down the Mall to around 12th St, then back across Haines Point to the Potomac again. Start planning your locations now!

Where at in Lake Ridge? I go fishing at the park and worked at the marina for two months.

It seems like this thread has died.

Are there any NOVA photographers around any more?

I took a break for a few years due to money and broken arm.

My husband and I just purchased a Nikon D5300. Still getting use to the camera! :-)

Wow, it's been so long since there's been any activity here. :-(

The Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk happens again this autumn. Below is a link to the local walk in Vienna, VA, Saturday October 7, 2017, from 9:30am to 11:30am. This is a free event. I've done the photo walk in past years in Vienna, Rosslyn, and DC. I still work on Saturdays, but will be taking this day off for the walk. These photowalks are fun! My avatar is from a fashion shoot a few weeks back in the same area where the local walk will happen. Wouldn't it be fun to have a bunch of us from PotN together at an event like this? I'm signed up for it already. I hope to see some of you there!

Mathogre

Did you attend the photowalk?

It's disappointing that this thread shows so little activity

Would anyone be willing to meet up once it's warmer? DC/Northern VA.

Check out Huntley Meadows in Alexandria.
