Also I keep 1.4 tele converter on each The weight of the Sig C is heavier than the 100-400II I use a shoulder strap for either, so weight becomes less of a factor if trekking with it. .. Its all about reach, you can never have enough !! Best of luck with your choice ![]()

Can't agree more coz still keeping the 100-400L. However, when longer reach is desired, 150-600C...is a great alternative. If your arms are strong, Sport is definitely the one to go for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Minolta, Fujifilm, Sigma, Tamron & Tokina

If your arms are strong, Sport is definitely the one to go for I know it has better weather sealing.. and from what I can tell, the design of the lens itself is quite different from the C.... But I hear the end results are identical, which I find odd. More info | Sep 03, 2017 10:31 | #41 I just thought I would add here that I recently show a friend my 150-600C on my 50D, he was very impressed so much so that he pretty much went out and changed his 150-500 for a 150-600 C for his Nikon kit. He is absolutely thrilled with the results he is getting compared to the old lens. He is mainly shooting wildlife, including kingfishers and dragonflies on the wing.
