I'm guessing his head is around 8 - 8 1/2 feet off the ground. Just a young guy

That moose is in the classic 'pointer' pose. What's he pointing at? A bit of red fur maybe :-)

Nice shot. The B/W treatment adds an air of mystery to the shot. Not a lot of moose around here. Probably see one every couple of years.

Hey Rod, he was watching that the big black faced bear did not get to close. The image was not to far off of B&W, early and heavy fog. I removed a ton of fog darkening the image. I guess I'm lucky to have a bit of game around.

Ok tell me Im not crazy but Im considering taking my 7DII and my hubbys 15-85usm lens with me on a holiday to Cambodia in two weeks time. I have the full frame but not the range this lens has. I was going to just take my X100 but the battery life is not great so I was thinking take the X100 for the shots at night , restaurant etc and the 7DII with that lens on should be enough to capture monkeys on the move and stuff in bright light. Separate camera insurance is expensive and Im not really sure about having to stress over the full frame and changing lenses all the time...opinions welcome

Crazy like a fox. Incredible versatility and compact and lightweight. Perfect travel kit, imho.

Been working my ass off putting a floor down and catching up on mowing all my properties after Hurricane Harvey's rain wouldn't allow the mowing earlier. So, just now putting up some of photos from McNeese's first football game last Thursday night.

The game didn't end well as McNeese missed on a lot of scoring opportunities and lost on a last second field goal. Also, it was a night game with a 7PM kickoff so getting photos with the stadium lighting was a struggle. Pre-game photos before the sun went down were better.

6 photos from the game:

One of LSU's Coach Ed Orgeron's twin sons, Parker Orgeron. Both play for McNeese. Parker is a starting wide receiver but ended up leaving the game after the 1st quarter with a concussion.

A shot of the other son, Cody Oregeron, who is a backup QB.

In this photo, Nicholls No. 12 doesn't field a punt. It bounces up and off of him and McNeese's No. 10 plucks it out of the air for the recovery.

Diving catch!!

TD catch!!

That is all. Doc
