couple from last week ,the great white egret was shot directly into the sun giving me the chance to play with my settings to get the white on black background effect i was after .

changed systems to MFT olympus omd1-mkiii , Olympus 100-400 zuiko .., xiaoyi 42.5mm f1.8 . four thirds mmm-2 ,four thirds 18-180mm , four thirds 11-22.. and pergear 60mm f2.8 macro

The second one isn't the best focus... I was at 1/50th and wasn't paying attention, else I'd have bumped the ISO like I did in the first one.

Hi guys

Is a mark iv still worth buying? I have 2 5D3's but I would like more FPS for shooting (motor)sports.

I'm surprised nobody hit on this yet. I think there are 2 camps. The first believes it's a bit long in the tooth and the 7D mark II is the way of the future. The second group says the 1DIV is still a very capable beast of a body and can keep up and nail focus and do all things 1D. It's more affordable than the 7D mark II, and build is better. You can get it for about 1000.00 us, with counts +/- 100,000, well under the shutter life expectancy. Take a look around and see what people say and do with it.

x2 ^^ It's my main body and love it. Prior to picking it up, I recalled a number of comments about how "once you shoot a D series, you'll have a hard time going back" - and I would agree. Majority of my work is sports, and I love my 1D MkIV. Now, if I could only figure out how to make it a back up to a nice (new to me) 1DX......
