I don't know about this lens. Tamron 24-70 2.8 G2. Love my Tamron 70-200 G2.

Nice typical warm color of Tamron.

I've grown to like the much better micro contrast deep blacks/reds/blue color that the canon L glass gives.... (sigma does too).

Not sure how, from those two pics, one can say emphatically "same optics" or "closer to mk ii".

Also, different crop. Same focal length?

Would rather see more (better) pics...sorry...
