Shot from my kayak in northern Maine last week. The calf stayed on shore, while the cow was in the water feeding for better than half an hour before I left.

Don't see any "meese" in it anywhere. :)

Like the photo. Looks like a photo of a wooden walkway in the Creole Nature Trail down in Cameron that I took years ago with my old 7D. Of course, you could have labelled that one "gator habitat".

Edit: Wow! Went and looked and the photo I was talking about is older than I thought it was. It was taken with my old 40D.

There are several fires burning in the Washington Oregon area. The air currents carried the smoke over Seattle yesterday.

That boardwalk looks like the sidewalk feels after a little too much rum. :-)

Nice shot.

We had some board walks here on the local walking trail but they have mostly been replaced by gravel. Too much maintenance required I guess.

This one runs on top of the spruce bog and crosses the river so its very much a wet buggy area Rod. It runs a long way.. Everything on four legs like to use it too

That looks like a good place for a walk. Even more so in a few weeks when most of the bugs are gone.
