3 shot vertical pano of a cool building in the Lennox Square district north of Atlanta. This was a bit later in the blue hour captured with the Loxia 85. It looks like I don't need a tilt-shift lens afterall (maybe). By the way, the tilt lock feature on my FLM ballhead has worked out well for scenarios like this.

Well done!

My Loxia 85 came today. The initial tests show it's well centered and sharp. I hope I do as well with my copy as you have with yours.

...by the way, when my wife asked me about it I told her it was all your fault. :p

It was hazy out tonight but I wanted to get a shot of the moon with my FE 100-400 +2x extender anyway. If the moon weren't full, there would be more detail in the craters.

Wonderful Alfredo. The Laowa 12mm renders beautifully...and you exploit the lens' abilities perfectly.

Thanks again David. It's a wonderful lens although truthfully, it does require that extra time in post to get the most out of it. I do love the perspective though! I just wish the Laowa 12mm was more compact like the CV12mm. I have it up for sale on the FM marketplace. I have one interested buyer but he wants to put a deposit on it due to the hurricane hitting Florida. I politely told him I would rather just do one transaction and that it was likely the lens would still be available. ;-)a

Off to sleep now. Will be up in 6 hours for work.

do you mean the crop...yeah, I shot it vertical...and then created the rest of the backdrop to go wide...and I am not sold on that...I think I liked it better cropped vertical.

I have not opened this one yet...I had some of this years ago and remember it being pretty good...it will be a while until I open this though...gotta find the right reason to open a $250 bottle of scotch.

$250!!! Man you guys pay through the nose for scotch!. I remember noticing that the last time I was in the states, even single measures in bars were expensive

That's a £110/$140 bottle here but even that's expensive. A good bottle of scotch is generally around the £50 mark. Johnny walker is over priced here as it's generally aimed at export

I couldn't justify spending my money on it...but as a gift...I will take it!

Thank you. There are several good options that cover this ultra wide focal length (Laowa, Voightlander, Sony FE 12-24, etc).
