Dude, this Fuji X RAW software has me more excited than the new 4K upgrade! I've been using the in camera RAW converter more and more lately, I love the way it handles highlights and skin tones. I can't wait to give that new feature a spin :)

And 50% increased tracking in AF-C! I thought my morning coffee was making me see things when I read that.:-D

The option to completely back up camera settings and transfer to another camera, thats golden for when you rent a second body.

was going to just use the tt350 as controller .. but went ahead and bought the x1t controller.
as well as a new modifier .
The wescott rapid box xxl , previously was using the wescott appollo orb.. but was always struggling with hotspots .

a few quick test and already like the results ..

This is with the previously used modifier

And this with the new ..

In these pictures the difference may a bit subtle ,, but anyway i'm satisfied

Trying to put together a shoot at a studio later this month , getting all the odds and ends together ..,
so far xt2 and 50 f2 combo are working well , this new modifier is nice
and godox x1t and lights all work!!
now just need to coordinate with studio and models , hoping to get this to happen!

Did you pick up the silver beauty dish style disc that goes inside the rapid box? That thing is awesome.

I am new to Fuji with the X-T2, and although I ordered it with the kit lens, I have decided to go with primes as they are so nice. My 16mm f/1.4 and 90mm f/2 arrived today, and I'm very impressed with both of them. My 35mm f/2 arrives tomorrow along with a third party square lens hood. This should wrap up my kit for now.

I stashed the little kit lens away, which I plan to give to my daughter along with an X-T20, which seems perfect for her as she loves old film cameras from the 1980's.

Fujifilm X-T2 with VPB-XT2, 16mm f/1.4, 23mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.4, 56mm f/1.2, 80mm f/2.8 OIS Macro, 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 OIS, 1.4x TC, Flashpoint R2 Strobes/Flashes

Don't discount that "kit" lens... It's really damned nice!

I agree. I tried it out during a family reunion last weekend and was very pleased with its performance. Fuji did a great job keeping the size down while maintaining f/4 at the long end.

The thing is, I just prefer primes. Most of the shots during the reunion were outdoor small family group shots, and the 35 f/2 will do the job for that type of thing when I don't want to haul a bag full of lenses.

Welcome to Fuji, that is one hell of a setup you have btw.

The kit lens is stellar and makes a perfect vacation/travel lens when i don't want to lug too much around.

Thanks, I originally ordered the 23 / 56 pair thinking that would hold me over for a while. That didn't last long.

Now, the Nikon FF gear is up for sale, and I shipped my D750 out today.

Yep I told myself I would just get the x100T and that was it.

3 months later I bought a used XT1 with a 35 1.4 and told myself this was my small kit.

A few months later I bought an Xt2 with 23mm and said this was a good setup with XT1 as a backup and dual card slots in the XT2.

A few weeks later I realized my longest fuji lens as a 50mm equivalent so I bought 50 f2 and said between that and the 23 f2 I had a killer 2 camera setup.

A month later I had a wedding coming up and realized my longest fuji lens was 75mm equivalent so I sold the XT1 and some canon gear and got the 50-140. Oh and since I sold the XT1 of course I bought a second Xt2 for the killer setup I have now.

A week later (today) I am considering selling the remaining Canon 6d and lenses and buying the 90mm f2.

Fuji has given me the worst GAS.

Hahaha!

Well the lenses being quality glass makes them hard to walk away from. The 50-140 is my next purchase ;-)a I rented one for a wedding and was surprised on how quick the AF was.
