Nice silhouette, but wrong thread. This one is for General Aviation aircraft: single engine props, light twins, light helicopters, gliders, maybe even the occasional Citation Mustang. Not airliners.

regardless, it's a fine shot... :-)


some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", 1D MK II converted for IR, and now an M5

I think they only sound like that after the teenagers get done "improving" them.

I caught this one at the Air Races this year, they were doing a demo each day.

The idea of placing the engines where they are was to increase the available space in the cabin and baggage area.

Yup, you can see them better here. The pilot said they were useful to slow down when he joined up on our photo plane.
