I don't usually post the same photo in more than one forum, but thought that this shot taken from an aeroplane window with my 80D was worth sharing...

This was taken from the window of a Qantas 737 about 10 minutes after take-off from Alice Springs, heading towards Sydney.

Exactly, that is what got my attention. “Dystopia” would have been more accurate...

Hey folks, how are you doing?

Some of my posted images does not display the EXIF properly, I'm downloading them directly from Flickr.

Perhaps should I use direct image Flickr link instead? Which one provides the best image quality?

The Canon 8D exceeded all my expectations, it's a great camera sir!

I think most of us just link to flickr like you did here. That way we can click the link and see the full res version. Subsequently, there are a few photographers from here that I now follow on flickr as a result of checking out the full res version!

This is at the Somme American First World War cemetery, Bony, France. I thought I'd take a different view of the flagpole. Only when I was perusing my images at home did I notice the partial rainbow. Nice surprise!

this is my first attempt at star trails. Not happy with it but I'm practicing for when I go to a better place with less light pollution. anyway 116 images @ 30 seconds blended in Photoshop.
