I use a gallon size freezer bag for my camera(s) and lenses when I go to hot climates for vacation. When I go to the beach I just keep them on the balcony in the shade so they're always the same temperature (or close to it) as outside to avoid condensation. I learned that lesson a few years ago when trying to photograph a lightning storm at sunrise with my T2i, the lens kept fogging on both sides and internally, ended up only getting one good shot from the whole shoot... thankfully it was a shot I'm still happy with today though :)

Olympic Gold Medalist Shawn Johnson spotting one of my kids (that I coach) at camp. Just before I took this shot she came up to me and said "I'm scared to do my giants (the skill she's about to do in the photo), I don't know if they'll spot me like you do". I thought it was flattering, but hysterical, once she realized who Shawn was so did she

Did anyone choose the X-T10 over the X-T1? I am split between the two with the only true issue being the lack of HSS, has HSS been added to the X-T10 with any of the recent firmware updates? Both cams fit in my hands (small) and would suit my needs nicely but occasionally if I require a sync speed faster than 1/180 then the X-t10 is out of the question.

This is also good to do in cold weather as well. Coming in from freezing weather into a nice warm house makes for a lot of nice condensation to form in your lenses and camera body. After using my equipment, I put them in ziplock bags, back into my bag. When I get home, I leave everything as is, and most of the time don't even mess with my camera until the next morning (although I heard it should be fine after a couple of hours).

Just posted the last of my Canon gear on Craigslist. Looking to get the 16mm 1.4 and 80 macro to round out my kit on Fuji. I made the decision to fully switch after getting a flashpoint 600 so now I have HSS and flash for fuji I have no reason to stay with Canon. I was staying for the 135L alone but realized it wasn't THAT much better that a client would notice.

Was playing about with an X-T2 with booster and the 23/2 on, along with the AD200 and an X100f. Man that little 23/2 is fast to lock on. Guess I'm keeping my car for another year now...

You bought an X-t2?

I really dig my battery booster setup with the X-t2. Best thing I've ever bought for my fuji setup :)

One thing i learned..this is my first vacation without a zoom, well it will also be the last without a zoom.. the 23 mm did well , but a zoom would have been great

Zoom lens I never miss a beat I use prime lenses to be the niche desired FL going for low light or for desired effects.

Only way I would ever go out on a vacation with Primes I would require multiple bodies.

Not yet, was having coffee with a fellow X-Photographer and updating our Godox stuff. We have an open bag policy between us so we can pool our gear as needed.

I thought so too but I am selling my Canon gear for about $1,500 less than I paid for it. I used it for 3 years so in the end it was like renting a whole kit for $500 per year.

Ive bought and sold into and out of so many cameras and lenses.. its all part of it for me.. the search for my "go to" camera.
The "loss" is a rental fee in my mind.. each camera ive sold has given me good pictures/video.. well worth the rental fee in my opinion
