Nice shot, but where is it? What is it?
I wish people would just put a few words of explanation on their photos.

Like Renata said, the shot was taken in Santiago de Chile last week, that´s The Andes Mountains view during sunset.

Went on a weekend trip to Yosemite National Park last weekend, and what an incredible place to go to if you haven't been yet! I'm just starting to go through pictures, and it's making me pretty excited! :-D

I learned no photos can capture the sheer size/depth/scale of Yosemite....same thing with the bland canyon (it's grand if you luck out with clouds @ sunset / t storms, otherwise it's a lot of haze boring until around sunset). Recently someone told me it was 3+ hours sitting in traffic just to get into Yosemite valley. Why they are not doing a big parking area outside the park and a shuttle bus only in/out is kind of insane.

Did you get a chance to go up to glacier point? That's a sweet place to catch sunset and peer over the edge at night! Yosemite was fun, lots of attractive German women running around too :-D

You're definitely right about that - the scale that is Yosemite is pretty tough to capture fully. If it wasn't for my fisheye I wouldn't have been getting all the full shots that I did because all these famous spots are HUGE and right on top of you when you see them!

El Capitan

Absolutely incredible place though, the memories alone are even more valuable than the pictures I took in my opinion :-D (though having the pictures turn out make it that much better haha!)

But yeah trust me, I heard that too about Yosemite and the traffic and was praying we wouldn't see any of that! And thankfully we did NOT experience any of that, it was just a couple of minutes if that to get through the park entrance, and then the traffic of tourists wasn't bad at all - we were able to find parking spots with ease every time! But yeah they do have a shuttle system and everything within the park, and buses that take you in and out from outside the park as well.

Unfortunately we were not able to make it up to Glacier Point, which was absolutely heartbreaking to me - it was top on my list. :-( The south entrance, and road leading up to it was shut down due to a significant wildfire. Which was a huge bummer because the smoke from that obscured big views, and one morning was making the air quality pretty bad. Though, I still got one incredible view in and that was from Clouds Rest - a 14.5 mile hike that tops out close to 10,000 ft in elevation haha!
