Yeah, I think as Canadians we become accustomed to what we have and don't realize just how spectacular and diverse this country really is but in reality that could be said about so many other beautiful countries around the world.

Yeah, the Western US ain't to shabby!

Here's the obligatory "bro shot" from our camp a couple weeks ago. I was headed up there agin this weekend but got lazy. It's a rough life.

We climbed the second peak from the left the day before (the one that set back just a bit).

Just a heads up, I'm going to be selling my Canon EF 85 f1.8 lens soon. I haven't decided on a selling price at this time though but wanted to mention it in case anyone here might be interested in it. I also have a Canon 430 EXII flash I plan on selling as well. No price set at this time for it either.

Thank you! I do believe that it was actually first snow on the mountains in Banff. This was on Wednesday. This morning we actually had snow also in the village in Canmore. I've been travelling Canada for the past 2,5 weeks and I've gotten to experience a temperature range for over 30 degrees celsius.

Swings in temperature in that area are pretty common especially in the Spring. I've been in Calgary when it was in about 19 degrees C and driving up the Parkway I could see the thermometer drop well below 0 degrees Celsius with some serious snow squawls added into the mix, nothing like being up at the observatory on Sulphur mountain in shorts and a Tee shirt when a snow squawl come in. I was on the Ice Fields Parkway this Spring and I was seriously concerned I wouldn't make it up to Jasper because of the weather.
