Feel better soon David. I've had those and it sucked.

Thanks Alfredo (and Travis). I'm mainly frustrated about having to cancel my camping trip, which I had been looking forward to.

I have made it through the first 3K from Day 1...and 2400 went in the bin, now, that is not to say they were bad, but I would pick the best out of the sequence of 10-15 of each car for that burst...20 FPS goes by fast! So I am really just culling down to the best stuff...and some of the deletes are ideas I had, that just didn't work, or were not interesting.

In this shot, the 20FPS is really beneficial, and why I wanted an a9...to catch these cars off the ground, its a split second thing, if you start your burst at the wrong time you miss it...but at 20FPS...never missed, combined with the AF speed of the a9...holy crap...I used to get 4 or 5 a day off the ground, the timing was that tough...now, I have tons of flying cars!

Fall is finally here in SoCal. Or what passes for fall. Cloudy skies and lower temps.
Thinking of driving down to the beach and looking for some atmospheric shots later this afternoon.

Meanwhile, the backpack saga continues. I just received the Lowepro Protactic 350...Didn't like its ergonomics and the way it fits my lenses. So it's going back. I have yet to find a good replacement for my current backpack solution. The only problem with that is that it's a bit too big. Great when I am on a road trip and want all my gear nearby. But for afternoon jaunts down to the local spots, I want to take less and need a smaller backpack.
I gave up on shoulder bags and slings...Too hard on my shoulder. So the quest continues.

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

Have you considered the Mindshift Backlight 26L, I love it, not 100% sure of your lens lineup, but its a good bag.

Very nice bag. Anyone use the 18L Trailscape? I might swap out my PD backpack for it. After my recent trip, I prefer backpacks that open up in the back vs the side. It makes swapping lenses and organizing gear easier with an open back.

my auto exposure bracketing settings are greyed out. What are the instances they are greyed out? I have my airplane mode on, uncompressed raw. The bracketing timer is ok, the settings isn't.

Anyone knows why and how is it greyed out?

I'm also not in silent mode.

A friend has one, he bought it about a month before the BackLight came out...wishes he had the Backlight. The Backlight holds more, but isn't all that bug, and has better outside tether and holding points for a tripod, water bottle etc.

I thought it would be the AF setting, you can't do AF-C in Bracket mode...but if you have it in AF-C and turn on Bracket mode, it sets it back to AF-S...

Thanks Travis. I'm just concerned the 26L will be too big for a day trip. I have an Fstop bag for loner trips. Really great bag too. I will take a look at the Backlight.

a nice little surprise when going through my images...found one of my favorite cars with little fire balls out the exhaust...I had no idea I had caught them, I had the preview function turned off, and with the number of cars coming through, I didn't chimp on the fly.
