These seem to have a little more pop to them than other shots you've posted. I like this look.

Provia standard so far has been my favorite all arounder ..probably why its been suggested as the profile for general purpose

classic chrome probably second favorite..

I think I might stop shooting raw plus jpeg though .. as I can always add the picture profiles in LR and as far as I can see its the same exact result ,..
unless i'm in a situation where I think my wife will say , "quick send me that picture"
I've already show off how easy it is now shes asking on a regular basis  ;-)a

I like to give some pictures a cinematic look .. I don't know how well I do it but I try ..
like this for example ..

IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/XSU9HH (external link) ConeyIsland Cine (external link) by Randall Herrera (external link), on Flickr

well not just because of aspect ratio and black bars but color tones in highlights and shadows.. the point being to try and make it look as if it were movie on pause ..

well anyway i'm finding classic chrome to be a good base to add to the RAW file and go from there..

Do you use the internal converter to process the raw file if requested?

no at the moment i'm shooting raw and jpeg .. so I just send her a jpeg.. but its taking up so much space and I just don't often used the jpegs it feels like a waste of space ..
I have seen the raw converter , but no haven't messed with it .. might have to try and see how quick or easy it is

There are plenty of options including the film sim & highlight and shadow push or pull. Easy once you get into it. Other reason to shoot +JPEG is zooming in fully, raw only lets you go in so far

For one or two shots it is really quick and easy. Obviously if you want to convert more... not so much. I was never very interested in wifi/immediate posting to social media etc (when using my Canon) but since getting the X-T2 I do it a lot. I only shoot RAW, but often convert a single image and send it to friends or post to FB etc.
