It snowed at Crater Lake this week, a bit earlier than normal. We went to take a look, unfortunately, there was enough snow that they closed the rim road in both directions so these came from the lodge area yesterday.

Beautiful! I'll get there someday. I was going to come back to Oregon this fall for some fall color, but the gorge fire killed that plan... :-(

We are down in Ashland and the fall color hasn't started yet and the fires are pretty much down and/or under control so you still have time.
