This Minolta XG-1 was purchased by my grandfather in 1982, and given to my dad. He gave it to me about ten years ago, but I was a bit intimidated by it and it collected dust. I recently started shooting with it, and I've really enjoyed it so far. It doesn't at all compare to my 5d, but there's something exceptionally satisfying about using it. Not only do I think it looks cool, but I love the sounds it makes and the feel of the advance lever.

I have a habit of getting emotionally attached to many of my images, so now I'm in big trouble shooting with film! If/when I post crap, I'm reliving the moment when I see/post. I'm sure many can relate.

XG-1, 50 f2, HP5.

Wouldn't normally include a road in any shot, but I think this counts as a landscape and actually contributes to this image.

This image isn't from this year, but it was processed this year. The battle of erosion between water and rock. The water will eventually when, but it will be far into the future and I will never see the result.

The replies aren't annoying, it is just difficult to understand what you are replying to unless it is quoted

Not annoying, just really hard to follow

It'll be awesome if ppl could put in a description - like place, time, call to fame, anything else interesting. Would be easier to quote and provide a context
