We are talking about Godox and they are quite bad listeners. A few person had a pre production model to test. Firmware can solve a lot these days.

Luckily that can be updated by the user.

They have selective hearing in who they listen to.

It seems very, very quiet on the XPro testing front. I'll go out on a limb and presume that the beta testers have been told not to chat about stuff in public, which would be understandable I spoze.

Or they are now in the middle of production to meet the preorders and demand here in October... They would not be in beta testing at this point, at least not from a hardware perspective. Perhaps from a firmware perspective I guess.

Yeah, I assume there's lots of activity in the Godox firmware factory these days. If they want the Xpro's 1-99 (I think) transmission code thingy to work with all their flashes, everyone's going to need some serious updatin'.

Seems to me there are people writing about it https://www.diyphotography.net …o-ultimate-flash-trigger/ (external link) - biggest issue is that only in Cannon at present

I think Flashpoint are the only ones that have had any access to the units because as I've discussed previously they are the ones that instigated the whole thing.

I don't think Godox have even updated the 3 things I mentioned last for the Xpro unfortunately.

The good news though is they have finally gotten the separate Flashpoint version underway again (which Flashpoint do get to sign off on the details).

That's months behind the Xpro now though, so I don't know when they may be available.

It'll be quite big on anything Fuji but for the GFX. It'll do quite nicely on that I'd say. Either way looks like a really big UX improvement over the X1T.

You aren't going to get it any faster from eBay. They still don't have them to ship out.

I agree with the size comment. I use the 860II and TT350 now on an XT2 as well as the X1T.
The functionality, especially TCM is what I look forward to.

The TCM with GFX for head shots will be really nice.

Hi everyone little off track here.. Is there anyway i can get a replacement for the battery cover on the X1-c R.. some jerk knocked the entire light post and i unfortunately lost the battery cover. I call him jerk because i told him not to move my light posts and when i tuned my back the person tried to move it again while getting tangled with the legs of the light stand, works fine but will not hold batteries in. Emailed Godox, fingers crossed. :(
