I am thinking of going to LED lights for both video and photo, I like to shoot 2 lights on each side of a model into an umbrella for a nice rim light (full body usually).

The YN-600's look great, but wondering how i would mount them to an umbrella adapter?

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

How about using 2 lightstand for the led & the umbrella (or scrim diffuser), or arm extension to hold the umbrella.

Years ago I use smaller led panel and grouped them together using 3 hotshoe bracket for video shoot.

I had thought about this, but want to keep things as portable as possible.

How did you like using LED for portraits?
